Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in 1986. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss. They had chart success in the 1990s with singles which included “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, and “Fall Down”. The band broke up in 1998 to pursue other projects but in 2006 began touring the United States as a band in small-venue, short-run tours each summer. In December 2010, the band announced their official reunion as a full-time working band and started writing songs for their first studio album of new material since their 1997 Columbia Records release Coil.[1] The album, New Constellation, was released on October 15, 2013.

Heartfelt, energetic, and down home. Heralded by CMT Edge as “one of the most promising bands on the bluegrass scene,” the music of the Nashville based group The Barefoot Movement is as down to earth as their intention for members of their audience: sit back, relax, take your shoes off, and stay a while under the blue and gray canvas.

The Barefoot Movement plays at Big Top this 2015 season on August 20. Buy Tickets

The Blue Canvas Orchestra re-creates the music of The Opry’s legendary performers such as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins and The Carter Family. Debuting in 2014, this show was a resounding hit. Severin Behnen wrote the show and leads the band. Corey Carlson, our own musical chameleon, assisted Behnen in the creation of the show and is featured along with guests Randy Sabien, Joe Savage, Danielle Diamond, and Emily Belanger in this nostalgic and entertaining romp through the best Western songs from the heydays of The Grand Ole Opry.
